Public / Private Partnership

The Terminal is a public-private partnership between the Port of Beaumont Navigation District of Jefferson County, Texas and Jefferson Energy Companies.

The Port of Beaumont is the fifth busiest port in the United States, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and the busiest military port in the U.S. It is also the headquarters of the United States Army’s 842nd Transportation Battalion. The Terminal is owned and operated by Jefferson Energy Companies, a midstream oil company that serves the Gulf Coast. Jefferson Energy Companies is majority-owned by FTAI Infrastructure Inc. (NASDAQ: FIP), which is managed by Fortress Investment Group.
