Energy In Motion

The Jefferson Energy Terminal is positioned in the center of the 9.8 million barrel per day Gulf Coast refinery market, the largest in North America.

The Terminal sits on a 250-acre site on the east bank of the Neches River Ship Channel at the Port of Beaumont – the fifth busiest port by cargo volume in the United States. The Terminal is accessible by rail, interstate highway, and marine modes.

The Beaumont / Port Arthur area is home to multiple major refineries with a total operating capacity of 1.5 million barrels per day.

Crude Oil

Jefferson Energy Terminal was built to be the most efficient rail terminal in the region for receiving unit trains of heavy Canadian conventional and unconventional (bitumen) crudes.

Refined Products

The Jefferson Energy Terminal has a rail loading system for refined products export to Mexico. Six tanks (87 and 93 octane gasoline and Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel) are in service with ability to load by rail as well as marine.
